For muddy or sandy seabeds, we suggest a Danforth or a Trefoil anchor since they are the flat anchor models that better adapt to these conditions. Once you have chosen the most suitable anchor, also keeping into account the chains, connectors and other important anchorage accessories, let’s move on to the bow roller. This roller is crucial during the anchorage and mooring phase: it’s where the anchor is housed when not in use and it makes it easier to haul it in or pay it out.
